I’ve touch down Cambodia

Hell no! Not the whole Cambodia… just a little portion of Siam Reap province and Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia.

It’s was nice and as said earlier in my blog I was excited to take lots of photos but unfortunately the night before we departed from Labuan to LCCT I was having fever already.

Although I wasn’t feeling well during the trip but still I manage to shop a little something small items for my other work mate who didn’t go for this trip. I did take some photos too..

It was hot and dusty in Cambodia and surely my condition is burden due to that but that’s okay cuz it was worth while to visit Cambodia.

Sharing picture is a must for me… Lots of my friends already asking for me to upload my photos. I have uploaded 70% into my flickr, please drop by and feel free to drop a few lines okay…

Oh btw, whoever thinking of visiting Cambodia, all I can say is, go ahead… Shopping is great but you must know how to bargain. Visiting historical place is interesting but you must be prepare because it requires alot of walking and climbing.

There are many poor people as well. So many kids around without slippers and asking for money “lady, one dollar, one dollar, please !!!” Sometimes, we tend to give them cuz we pity them but for security precaution, our tour guide said, don’t give money, give food to them cuz if you give money to one person, all of them might rush to you asking for the same. And that could lead to unintended accident.

Business trade is in USD and sometimes they will return the change in their own currency. It is advised that you change your money to USD and a little portion in riel (KHR).

Hmm…. what else? errrrr… I am running out of inspiration to write further… I’ll write again some other time…

I have not been blogging since early August and since then I have plenty of pending post to put up. Among them are Schlumbeger’s Annual Dinner and Seniority Pin Presentation, Hasmadi & Nurul’s big day, Toastmaster Dinner and Installation, Julie & Supry’s Wedding, and most recent Avely’s Farewell lunch.

the contagious VIRUS

Just copying this post from my other blog.

Today x-bf and I went for lunch with a friend, Shaifol and Roslan at Banana Leaf. We had great meal and great chit chat time… X-bf spotted Shaifol’s sun share…. he is also wearing the same contagious brand of sun share….VIRUS…. And x-bf was thinking to get a new one with the same brand… Coincidently, Shaiful told us that he bought his sun shade from an optic shop in Financial Park… hmmm… we were thinking hmmmm…. since we had free time before meeting with Hasmadi & Nurul tonight, we went to Financial Park to have a look. But instead of just browsing, we end buy bringing home a pair of his and her VIRUS sun shade……

The shop is doing sale in conjunction of the Merdeka month…. So guys, if you are planning to get a new eye wear, do drop by this optic shop. They have variety of eye wear from various brands. The place is very cosy too….

My newly infectious VIRUS sun shade cost me rm69.00 same goes to x-bf’s sun shade. The other brand is on 50% off…. hurry go now before it’s too late.

Happy Monday…

Partner and I were busy this weekend…. It was really busy for me since Monday. We have 2 IT personal from Indian coming over to our office to attend training for our in-house accounting system.

Myself and my other colleague had to train them for 2 days which was Wed and Thu. I was on exam leave last Friday.

On Monday I had to prepare all the paperwork for the training and Tuesday I had to deal with Immigration for the new expatriate work permit and also busy for Brien & Ashley birthday bash in the evening. Wed and Thu for the in-house training and Friday the battle day.. my semester final exam….

Gosh! It was really tough week! It does not stop just right there… after my exam I rush home to pick up my weapons (hihi… J my photography gear actually) and rush to Hasmadi & Nurul’s house at Kg. Patau² Satu for their Akad Nikah shooting.

Although it all seems to be in a rush but everything went smooth. I had passed my exam happily and done with my first section of the wedding assignment. What next in my agenda for Friday itself…. ? Hmmmmm… I went to Grand Dorsett’s Lobby lounge, meeting with my potential client for another church wedding that probably will be held in December.

Looking forward for tomorrow to see what tomorrow will bring me to….

At Murphys’ Bar with old friends..

After attending Azrin’s wedding, Kee, Adie aka Godzilla, Nunud, TC and myself went to Murphys’ Bar. Adie wanted to try out the lasagna. Just too bad that they just sold off the last piece right before we entered… Poor my dear Godzilla… Maybe next time la kan…

So, to heal the broken hearted, we suggested a burger instead.. we ordered 3 burgers, Adie sharing with Kee, Me and Nunud and TC all alone. Gosh! He can really eat so I had to take one burger all for himself.

Hye hye…. this is just a friendly act… no more no less ya…

Labuan Unduk Ngadau 2008

Hi everyone!

We are in the middle of May now and for sure most of us already know that May is the month for Harvest Festival celebration. For Labuan people specially, we will be having out district level pesta kaamatan on 17th May 2008, owh that will be tomorrow….
