Audrey’s Belated Birthday Party

It is belated birthday gathering for my niece.. belated birthday, so belated post also.. ahahaha no lar… just been extremely busy for the whole week so have no energy to post.

Before my post getting long list in que, so I think that I should start posting again. As tomorrow I will have another long day to go, taking picture for another niece’s fashion show and then go to office to continue my work.

Last weekend was kind of busy and somehow rushing weekend for me.

Friday we went to Little Labuan as early as 9.30pm. Bunny said go early come home early, but as I expected, when he meets his friends and pool table it won’t be late if the clock has not reach 2am yet. Indeed we came home at 3am.

Saturday morning I tried to wake up late but I couldn’t, it hard with the kids’ noises, the car and motorbikes… and added I am a light sleeper…

 Also, expected my Nikon D40x to arrive.

Me and Bunny tried to get some nap but I think both of us excited about the arrival of our D40x. Suddenly he wakes up and rush to the door, he said he heard the honk but I didn’t hear anything. He signed the docket and start unpacking. I was still in the room, CONFUSED! I am half excited, happy, and nervous too! Stupid isn’t it! What is there to be nervous about. Probably because I am going to hold something that cost me almost 3k. So far is this the most expensive stuff I ever bought for myself, apart from laptops.

We unpacked the box and tried the camera alittle… we were happy at least this camera does not produce so much of noises like put Lumix FZ8. Anyway, it is heavy just like what I wanted.

At around 5.30pm Bunny, myself, Vylette and Damien went down to town, bought my Vodka Ice from Hup Huat (RM 21 for 4 bottles, we bought 8 bottles), sent to Little Labuan. Ah Chang charged me RM 3 corkage per bottle (total: RM 24.00).

So basically the vodka cost me:
RM 42.00 + RM 24.00 = RM 66.00

Arlena and I finished the first 6 bottles that night itself and left with 2 more bottles for next week. Again we came back late. Because we went to KFC.

Again, tried to wake up late as I knew I will have busy day today… Meeting with Dave and photoshooting outing.

We went to Dave house at around 11.55am and end up at around 2pm. He showed us his previous work in print out. His work is great. He does not do any editing but yet the picture looks like edited…. It is really creative! He told us few tips and tricks about photography and also the camera itself.

After Dave’s house we fetch Lina and the kids and go to Banana Leaf for late lunch…. The kids took papadams and Brien had curry and rice like me and Bunny but I had my crap masala. All in cost me RM 53.00 for that just a simple lunch. I think had to take a break for awhile now. It’s too expensive but the masala crab is my favourite!

Then we head straight to Bird Park. The kids so excited specially the first thing they saw as soon as we arrived was the colorful playground. Hmmm…. Entrance Fee cost me RM 10.00 for 3 kids and 3 adults… I think the attendent give discount. Kids counted and 1 only.

It was freaking hot sunny day but I was excited to do my photography explorer… Just too bad the outcome does not exactly came up exactly how I wanted it to be. With the kids around, I focused more to their safety rather than being creative and snap snap. I was rather disappointed! Anyway… photos can’t be viewed at www.flickr.com/photos/vivalova

Went back take a short nap and then head to Mawilla at 7.45pm, Had Ikan Bakar (Ikan Sebelah 1kg), Mixed Vege, Vietnamese Chicken and Crab Meat Corn soup, 4 iced lemon tea. Dinner cost me RM 66.00

Before we went home, we stopped but at Labuan Square (the opposite side) and take some photos for experienmetal.

Back home and upload photos to Flickr (not all yet) still have some more to upload, all the photos from Lumix not yet uploaded.
